Case Studies and Reflective practice
There is a research project required to cover unit UC30320 The principles and practice of Complementry Therapies.
The health and safety knowledge is obtained via distance learning but all practical elements are assessed within each module.
Case studies and reflective practice are required for all the new qualifications.
L3 Diploma in Aromatherapy requires 60 treatments.
L3 Diploma in Reflexology requires100 treatments.
L3 Diploma in Massage requires 30 treatments
This work is achieved at home
You are required to have student insurance to complete case studies.

Level 3 Diploma in Complementary Therapies AC30018
This course covers 11 units, health and safety, Business practice. principles and practices of complementary therapies, anatomy and physiology, common and less common pathology, provide body massage, reflective practice for massage, provide aromatherapy and reflective practice for aromatherapy, provide reflexology and reflective practice for reflexology.
Course will be broken down into modules and delivered to suit individual students needs. POA
Level 3 Diploma In Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for Complementary Therapies.
This course has 12 learning outcomes.The organisation of the body, Skin, hair and nails, Skeletal system, Muscular system, Nervous system, Endocrine system Respiratory system, Cardiovascular system, Lymphatic system, Digestive system, Urinary system and Reproductive sysytem all with common and less common pathologies.
Course structure 10 days including assessment cost £1000
Level 3 Award in health and safety for Complementary Therapies
This award has 3 learning outcomes, to understand the health and safety procedures and policies required for complementary therapies, be able to maintain a healthy and safe environment, and to be able to apply hygeine procedures for complementary therapy treatments
Course structure 1 day tuition and 1/2 days assessment cost £150
Level 3 Diploma in Aromatherapy (prerequiste of body massage, and anatomy and physiology)
This award has 7 units, health and safety, Buiness practice. principles and practices of complementary therapies, anatomy and physiology, common and less common pathology,provide aromatherapy and reflective practice for aromatherapy

Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology (prerequiste of Anatomy and physiology)
This course has 7 units, health and safety, Business practice,principles and practices of complementary therapies, anatomy and physiology,common and less common pathology, provide reflexology and reflective practice in reflexology.

Level 3 Diploma in Body Massage for Complementary Therapies. (Prerequiste
of anatomy and physiology)
This course has 7 units, health and safety, business practice,principles and practices of complementary therapies,
anatomy and physiology, common and less common pathology,provide body massage for complementary therapies and reflective practice for body massage.
Course Structure 10 days including assessment £1100
level 3 diploma in Indian Head Massage
This course has 3 units
monitor and maintain health and safety in the salon, provide indian head massage and client care and communcication.
Course structure is 5 days including assessment £600
Level 3 Teaching certificate in Baby Massage (prerequiste of anatomy and physiology,
and health and safety, knowledge of body massage)
This course has just one unit- provide and demonstrate baby massage.
Course structure 1 day tuition and 1/2 days assessment £200
Level 2 Thermal Auricular Therapy
1 day tuition and 1/2 day for assessment and portfolio building
Course Structure 1 day tuition plus 1 day assessment £200
Assessment fee this charge is for your assessment books, for registration with VTCT (if required) and verification costs. It is payable for every course except health and safety if this is being complted alonside another course.
