What is Bowen? The Bowen technique is a gentle, painless, holistic, remedial body therapy, based on the principle of `less is more’
How does Bowen work? When our bodies get injured, we compensate by using different muscles as a form of protection. In the long term this causes many problems including ‘learnt behaviour patterns’.
Muscle fascia has memory and learnt behaviour is a major factor in re-occurring back pain and spasm.
Bowen helps our bodies to reinstate normal working behaviour.
